O K
Had a look around myspace, facebook, and bebo.
Myspace was the most interesting, in that myspace would allow you to look through others profiles with age definitions/restrictions.
I looked in New Zealand and in the USA. I could not zero in on people from Texas, much to my dismay or people from Arkansas where a good friend of mine lives.
It was good fun, however and I enjoyed having a play.
I am not quite brave enough to put myself out on anymore fronts than this one at this time.
Looking forward tothe 'next' assignment.

Japan Day 15 September 2007 St. Heliers LIbrary
Japan Day at St. Heliers Library
What a huge day! We had dancers, storytellers, Japanese Antique appraisers, Calligraphy, Origami (paper folding), and outside we had more dancers, rice pounding, sushi, rice cakes with red bean paste, fried foods and more.
The staff wore either happi (hopi) coats and headbands or a Kimono with obi sashes tied by the Japanese dancers.
There was also some beautiful music played on instruments I had never seen before. The music is played traditionally in court settings and you could hear the story as the music was played.
WE all had a wonderful time, and were quite exhausted by the end of the day.
A good time was had by all and we are looking forward to next year!
